Introduction of the basketball team University of Tartu/Rock.

The basketball team University of Tartu/Rock belongs to the Academic Sports Club of the Estonian oldest University – University of Tartu (www.ut.ee). The university has held the basketball tradition for more than 80 years. Even as early as in 1930s Tartu was considered to be the capital of Estonian basketball, as it is today.

Since 2000 the name of University of Tartu's basketball team is University of Tartu/Rock. Before that it had different names, which have changed quite a many times; however, for the people of Tartu it has always been spiritually the same and their own team.
